#Location inputs

Realtor.com area searches take every location input: zip, city with state, county with state, neighborhood with city and state, bbox, or lat with lng and radius_mi. Each place is checked against Realtor.com's own place list first, so a misspelled city or neighborhood returns location_not_served, never homes from somewhere else.

Home lookups take address, url or source_id. Addresses resolve through Realtor.com's own address list, which includes off-market homes. The source_id is the number in the home's URL without the M and dash: ..._M17645-20232 is 1764520232.

#Things to know

Searches return up to 100 homes per page and say how many match. Realtor.com shows at most 10,000 results per search; past that, narrow the area or add filters.
Sold rows carry the asking price and listing date when the listing started within a year before the sale, so sale_to_list_ratio is filled in search.
In non-disclosure states like Texas, Realtor.com hides sale prices. sale_price is null and sale_price_disclosure is not_disclosed.
Every row has the county and its FIPS code.
Realtor.com's order can shift between pages. We leave out homes already sent on the two pages before, so a page can have fewer than 100 rows and still have a next_cursor. Send sort when you page through a large area.
estimate returns every value estimate Realtor.com shows, each labeled with the company that made it (corelogic is Cotality, quantarium, collateral is Collateral Analytics), with its range and date. property gives the headline one's monthly history in value_history. We don't make our own.
